It's a good idea Shashwat, I think we should do it at some point in the future when the project has more maintainers. I would try to focus such a blog more on technical aspects or news about the community.
Right now adding a blog would translate in more burden to the core team which is already over-burdened so I think we cannot do it. Moreover, having some good tutorials and better documentation should have precedence to the blog.
