hmmm ... curious.  i did verify that, before i ran "make
package/symlinks", i had no feeds/ directory.  and immediately after i
ran that, that link was there.

how odd.  as i mentioned before, i'm using the absolute latest "git
pull" contents of the repo.  can anyone else verify that this happens
for them or not?  not that it's a big deal, obviously, but if it's not
serving any purpose, why create it?
