Good news!

Not so good, but I can wait (as long as I don't "break" the original
firmwarem, see below).

Mmm, I was thinking of a hack similar to the one for the ar7: keep the
original brn bootloader and create a "compatible" image (I know the
format, even if they went out of their way to obfuscate it).
Also, for experimenting, I thought of uploading "something" to the
device in ram using the bootloader command line, the problem is I don't
know how to build that "something" ;-)
The bootloader decompresses the firmware at 0x80002000 then it
(supposedly) runs it from there, so it should be possible to upload a
kernel at 0x80002000 and run it. Or even an u-boot prepared to run from
that address and use it to load the kernel via the network (115200 bps
is really slow to upload a kernel).

Ok, I'll wait.
Besides, I have to keep the original bootloader to have the possibility
to reflash the original firmware, otherwise the isp won't give me any
support in case of problems (and, no, I don't mean problems with the
router but problems in the line). I don't have the service completely
activated, but in a short while the only voice line I'll have will be
the one provided by the router.

Spain, http://ya.com (now part of France Telecom but formerly part of
Deutsche Telekom, in fact I think that telekom in Germany is
distributing similar devices, oh, the firmware has some special pages to
setup a connection through arcor).

Thank you.

Bye
