Honestly, I had already bricked 2 routers (TP-Link 1043ND and 741ND). What I did was that I compiled the images from the source, and then upload them to the routers. Sometimes they work. However, in two of the instances, I changed some options, and . bricked the routers (even the build and the flashing were all successful). I am just wondering, when I try to build the image from the source again in the future, should I just cross my finger and hope that the image will work? Or is there any way to verify the correctness of an image before I flash it to the router? Thanks very much in advance. Regards, Robert
