Some problems with the patch process is that we get patches for targets that only some developers know enough to make intelligent comments on the patch. In addition, the patches are of varying quality and utility and the developers (like myself) are busy with full-time jobs. That means we have to verify every patch before we commit it, and we don't have much time to do that. Blame the people who submit patches they haven't even bothered to compile. > 2.
