So I may be able to change the boot mode by altering pull-up on the
edge connector. The goal in doing this is for recovering bricked
boards. Once the pull up is set, how do you talk to it?
I wonder if there is a single ROM for all Ralink chips. In that case
iNIC USB mode is going to be the mode the RT5370 uses to load its
firmware. Source for that would be in the Linux kernel.
This is interesting. You can just try, and let us know the results.
Anyway
- there is an JTAG connector on those boards
- iNIC mode is for USB-dongle wifi card
- i'm not sure if there should be an i2c-eeprom on the board to make it work
