The ath5k driver using an ARV4518PW works as good as always, at least
for me, and the wireless MAC is read correctly.

[ 0.300000] ath5k,eeprom 103f0400.ath5k_eep: loaded ath5k eeprom
...
[   10.572000] PCI: Enabling device 0000:00:0e.0 (0000 -> 0002)
[ 10.576000] ath5k 0000:00:0e.0: registered as 'phy0'
[ 10.588000] ath: EEPROM regdomain: 0x60
[ 10.592000] ath: EEPROM indicates we should expect a direct regpair map
[ 10.596000] ath: Country alpha2 being used: 00
[ 10.600000] ath: Regpair used: 0x60
[ 10.608000] ieee80211 phy0: Selected rate control algorithm 'minstrel_ht'
[ 10.624000] ath5k: phy0: Atheros AR2417 chip found (MAC: 0xf0, PHY: 0x70)
...
[ 24.668000] wlan0: authenticate with 64:70:02:
[ 24.680000] wlan0: send auth to 64:70:02: (try 1/3)
[ 24.684000] wlan0: authenticated
[ 24.692000] wlan0: associate with 64:70:02: (try 1/3)
[ 24.700000] wlan0: RX AssocResp from 64:70:02: (capab=0x431 status=0 aid=1)
[ 24.708000] wlan0: associated

But as you say will be better if the patch can be tested in other
boards, especially the sx762.
