Hi, I tend to NAK this as it has the potential to interrupt a lot of downstream tooling. Up until now I also never heard about about Zstd - while this doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things I think it is a bit too "new" to be used widely yet. Seems tar only supports it since beginning of 2019.
