 Because that prefix isn't delegated to you but is announced as belonging
 to the interface where the RA is sent which means you cannot simply take
 it and assign it (or parts of it somewhere else).

 Your ISP needs to use DHCPv6-PD to delegate the /56 but not RAs.
 What company is this anyway?
