Hi nbd! I'm still getting disconnects on 1043ND v1. But I see some
improvement since my tests from 2 months ago when the wifi used to stop
permanently. The link speed is faster now and the disconnects are
temporary, but all devices are disconnected and roam to the other router
automatically (1043ND v2). The WDS link between the two routers also
reconnects. The test was performed with a TL-WR823N USB card on one side
and gigabit LAN on the other. + an iPhone 3g as a third device that just
roams to the other router at the same time.

I also performed a second test: gigabit LAN to both routers sending data
from one to the other. v1 connects via WDS to v2. This seemed stable
during my tests. Although it is still possible to interrupt the link and
resume the transfer without breaking the TCP connections. Test length: 2
hours A sends to B, 2 hours B sends to A, 5 hours both send data.

 Test results here:

So for me Bakcfire r33081 remains the most stable version on 1043ND v1. TX
DMA messages are also present there, but are very rare and I didn't notice
disconnects. I've performed a lot of tests there.
