gvolkov; thanks for taking the time to look into this, buddy. Come the
weekend, I'll try my luck at building. In the meantime, if you're still
doing it, I suggest you split the building range in two as you go along
(eg: http://railspikes.com/assets/2008/10/3/binary_search.png).
