I've experienced the same (not with the newest version, but some time
ago): pages with complex content having to do a number of HTTP requests
would stall while on the 5GHz band, but the same page would load instantly
on the 2.4GHz.
I verified this with at least two clients, so I suspect there's some kind
of packet loss or corruption on the 5GHz band, but I didn't manage to get
a packet capture at the time that would tell me what was the problem was.
I might try again at some point, but my time budget for this kind of thing
is small, and at the time I just turned off the 5GHz band.
