+1 I am affected by this, too. It is definately a papercut for experienced
users and possibly a show stopper for novice users.
Wouldn't it solve the legal issues if someone in a different legislative
region hosted "real" world (not just USA) images of OpenWRT? OpenWRT.org
could clearly state that while country selection is implemented in all
images, it always complies at least with US regulations and refer to that
second download site. That way novice users would have a chance to select
the image appropriate for them and no one would complain here.
