Same problem here. I personally tried 44396 and 2 more, all well into
3.18.
The closed ticket mentioned at the top(
https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/19144 ) contains part of the detective work
that nailed the problem to r44346, that contains dsl driver changes
targeting kernel 3.18.
