Are you working with a [http://www.actiontec.com/215.html GT784WN] or a
[http://www.actiontec.com/262.html GT784WNV]?
When I flash trunk to a GT784WNV ...

$ ping 192.168.1.1
}}}
comes back with a reply so I can only assume the device has booted but for
some reason
{{{
$ telnet 192.168.1.1
}}}
gets no response, hence no way to set passwd, hence no access.
