 IIRC, WMM (multi-queue) is '''mandatory''' to be able to use HT modes. Do
 not disable it if you're up for using HT (802.11n) modes.

 Then, HT40 could deactivate if AP senses interference on secondary
 ("above" or "below") channel. You can '''force''' HT40 mode, at risk of
 causing interference. Read that damned manual on wiki how to do it. Doing
 so would formally violate 802.11n specs and you should make sure you do
 not cause major interference to others. Choose channels wisely, using
 least busy channels to minimize interference and get decent throughput.
