#19085: nanostation m5 loco xw "loses" interface

I would like to summarize the current state of this issue:
* only XW loco devices are affected (AR8032)
* Linux kernel versions at least up to 3.18.14 are affected
* we received some quick-reset code that is used by Ubiquiti ([#comment:8]
and [#comment:9])
* patches based on this code were created, but they did not seem to solve
the problem (or: created different problems) ([#comment:16] and
[#comment:18])
* some participants referred to NanoBeam NBE-M5-19 with similar problems
([#comment:22])
* it seems to be unclear if their problem was solved and if it was
related at all
Please correct me if I misunderstood something.
