Also having this same issue with an Archer C7 v2 running Chaos Calmer rc3.
Settings
Mode: AC
Channel: 149
Width: 80 MHz
Power: 27 dBm (501 mW)
WMM Mode enabled.
WPA2-PSK only.
Force CCMP (AES)
The problem client in this case is a 1st generation Moto X (XT1053) which
is 802.11n capable. Sometimes it will connect fine, other times I can't
get it to connect even by toggling the wifi off and on. Sometimes it will
connect fine and then drop later on then fail to reconnect. On the OpenWRT
side I get the logs mentioned in the bug on each failed connection
attempt.
My Nexus 9 tablet which has an 802.11ac radio, seems to have no issues
connecting and holding a connection.
