Hi,
My router is TP-LINK WR1043ND v1 with OpenWRT Chaos Calmer (one of the
newest build). When I connect a device with fast ethernet (100Mb/s) my
internet speed on that device is only 20Mb/s, when it should be 60Mb/s
(according to speedtest which is correct with the speeds I'm getting in
different programs). I tested that device, cables etc. and it's all fully
operational. I also have an old TP-LINK device with fast ethernets and I
connected it to WR1043ND and then I connected my 100Mb/s device to the
that old TP-LINK and the result was identical but when I connected that
old TP-LINK directly to my ISP modem the speeds where correct which led me
to believe that the problem is with my WR1043ND running OpenWRT.
I believe it's a bug. If you have any suggestions or questions feel free
to ask them. Also this problem was not present in the past. I don't know
how long it's been present I only diagnosed this yesterday. To reproduce
this problem connect a fast ethernet device to your router (preferably
WR1043ND v1) running OpenWrt Chaos Calmer 15.05 (r48749) and test your
internet speeds.
