I (the original poster here) would like to change the ticket#22217 to
"invalid".
The pivot overlay ExtRoot works fine to a card in a card-reader of an USB-
modem (just like it works to any other ExtRoot-supported storage) - until
one tries to use the "usb-modeswitch" utility to enable the modem itself.
This ("usb-modeswitch") utility temporarily has to disable the card-reader
- thus interrupting the file system.
So this ticket was opened in error. Please disregard it.
