I have a WRT54GSv4 and I tried following the DMZ documentation at
http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/KamikazeConfiguration/DemilitarizedZoneHowtoand
the result was the WAN wouldn't get a dhcp address.

In the default configuration for WRT54GSv4 port 0 is the WAN port and 5 is
the CPU. /etc/config/network contains:
config 'switch' 'eth0'
    option 'vlan0' '0 1 2 3 5*'
    option 'vlan1' '4 5'

Port 4 can get dhcp from the router, but doesn't seem to be completely
functional, ie I couldn't ssh to the port 4 dhcp client address. So what
does vlan1 do in this default configuration? And what is required to do
something useful with it?

Thanks,
Chuck
