Frankly, the ath9k has been a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend the Buffalo
WZR-HP-G300NH because of it. It's never been stable, and never been as fast
(in terms of throughput) as the lowly WRT-54-GL.

Would you recommend WNDR3700 as a replacement? What is the recommended
hardware these days with 32 MB of flash, gigabit Ethernet, 4-port LAN
switch, and working, stable B-G-N wireless?

I'll do so, but the only snapshot I see on the web page was taken just
after rc5. Is there another place to get these snapshots, or is there a
method for doing this that amounts to "git/svn source; configure; make;
make handy-binary-for-flashing"?
