Please be careful with such generalizations, one anecdote doesn't make a trend. I use ath9k in production and it is fast and stable for me while the lowly WRT54GL simply used to drop out from time to time. Based on my personal experience I don't run around yelling how nightmarish the broadcom driver is. > Would you recommend WNDR3700 as a replacement? What is the recommended > hardware these days with 32 MB of flash, gigabit Ethernet, 4-port LAN > switch, and working, stable B-G-N wireless? The only supported 11n wireless on OpenWrt *is* ath9k. If you want to use Broadcom 11N radios you have to use Tomato or DD-Wrt. > I'll do so, but the only snapshot I see on the web page was taken just > after rc5. http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ ? ~ Jow _______________________________________________ openwrt-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openwrt.org/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-users
