Hello, I have installed backfire (from svn) on WRT54GL LinkSys device. It boots ok. In "make menuconfig" I had chosen "Broadcom BCM947xx/953xx " (Broadcom BCM947xx/953xx ) TARGET_brcm47xx_Broadcom-b43
And Broadcom BCM43xx WiFi (default) CONFIG_TARGET_brcm47xx_Broadcom-b43 AFAIK, this configuration uses proprietary b43 mopule. Now I want to use the b43 driver from the mainline kernel. For that I run "make kernel_menucofig" and select the b43 driver and run "make target/linux/compile" and "make target/linux/install" However, after flashing the image, still the proprietary driver is loaded. Can somebody tell what should be done to build the b43 mainline kernel module ? rgs, Kevin _______________________________________________ openwrt-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openwrt.org/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-users
