I just started looking at atheros customs builds adn in specific for the dlink 601 A1 and the d-link 600 A1.
According to the wiki: http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir-600?s[]=dlink&s[]=601#supported.versions They are both the same. The hardware i have states 601 A1 version and as i am building the custom image and trying to make it as small as possible i see that i can specify what drivers to load being the default "to load all drivers" which i do not want. The question is; should i use the dlink 601 A1 profile or 600 A1 profile will work without any issues since it seems to be the latest image available from the repos ? Also related to this question i have a doubt which the wiki does not seem to clarify well. http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir-600?s[]=dlink&s[]=601#installation while it says we can use either the jffs2 or squashFS versions it also says that jffs2 does NOT seem to work on the DIR-601 so in other words how can we use either ?
