Hi, I have similar problem, but I already have connection established with NS-1500n throug rs232 console (interface on MAX 232). I had to solder 4 pins in JP2 place on mboard and additional resistor 1Kohm was needed between pin1 and 2:

I am still reading some descriptions of build bin, and I have test the procedure, but I do not know what should be set (switch on/of options)in config file to build it for NS-1500N. I wrought e-mails to guys who had any experience whit it, and I am waiting for their responses. Did you find something regarding to NS-1500N - some bin, procedures etc. ?
