Hello Florian, if you like to upgrade your system, you can use sysupgrade via ssh or the webinterface for example.
download.openwrt.org provides the trx-file with the .bin-images: http://downloads.openwrt.org/attitude_adjustment/12.09/brcm47xx/generic/ for the latest version. Make sure, you get the right one for your chipset and check whether the version supports your router. I tried and failed today.
