There where some wr1043nd v1 shipped with that bug, but there where not that many. I would just flash it and see if the bug occurs (very small chance).
There is also the wr1043nd v2 that one is completely different in hardware and exterior from the v1 and currently only supported under trunk. At some point it will be added to the wiki as well.
