Atheros based: No issues ever. (Unless you count the 4 months where
nbd broke connections with Intel clients, we try not to talk about
that :P)
Broadcom based: I want to cry.
I'm running a Notebook with Broadcom and works like a charm.
All Tp-link products have atheros chipset.
