for future consideration, i'd like to get my hands on some
MT7620A-based router or eval board that is either supported or
possibly a work in progress that is moderately far along (at least to
the point where i can build and boot, even if not all functionality is
there). also, one i have a good chance of finding in my local tech
shop, if that's possible.

so i'm looking at some relevant web pages:

  http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start [obviously]
  http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/hardware/soc/soc.ralink?s[]=mt7620a
  https://wikidevi.com/wiki/MediaTek_MT7620

the ToH page shows few routers in that category -- this is the only
system that specifically lists being based on the MT7620A:

  http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/asiarf/awm-evb

the wikidevi mediatek page shows a number of MT7620A-based routers,
including the ASUS RT-AC52U:

  https://wikidevi.com/wiki/ASUS_RT-AC52U

i've had good experiences with any ASUS equipment i've purchased, and
my local tech shop happens to have that model on sale:

http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=27_1046_1047&item_id=068508

so, any recommendations? i realize that router is not listed as being
supported, so obviously i'm open to whatever make and model anyone
else is using with some success.
