Thanks Ronaldo i'll have a look, but i'm mainly interested in the
defaultconditions that are usually found on Openwrt devices which, i'm
startingto think, are that absolutely non persistent logs are kept apart from
the circular"in ram" log you can read with the "logread" command but only until
the deviceis not rebooted. In your esperience is this the typical scenario?
Thanks

   Hi Pippo,
In my opinion, the best approach for persistent log in OpenWrt is to send it
to a remote syslog server.
Take a look at the "log_ip" option of /etc/config/system.

Hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone knows about any sourcefor documentation
about what kind of logs can be found on an Openwrtdevice (dropbear, web
interface for management) or even IF there isany log to be found (i mean
persistent logs that survive a reboot). My interest is mainly about Teltonika
routers (RUT5xx series) butanything will do.
Thanks in advance and greetings to all the list from Italy
