so, basically, (unless some modification are made to the tipical configuration
of thesekind of devices) i have to assume that taking a router that is powered
off i can't find any traceof previous logins (the ones made through the
administrative web interface and the onesmade through ssh clients to dropbear)
nor the succesful ones nor the failed ones ...at least the failed ones i would
think that should be useful to save them somewhere ..

The answer is YES, in my experience that circular in ram buffer log is what
is used by the default syslog server of OpenWRT.
I'm used to have SOHO devices with flash memory, so it's usually not a good
practice to constantly write to flash.
