Hi All,

There is a confusion for this driver support as this link says it does not
support mesh.
https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers
<https://mailtrack.io/trace/link/81bd0533e777a7e4415583a0f31abf3907a3d608?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwireless.wiki.kernel.org%2Fen%2Fusers%2FDrivers&userId=1883625&signature=d1662059af389316>

but link here says, i can enable the mesh networking:
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Iwlwifi
<https://mailtrack.io/trace/link/30e6c6f0a4f22a279ae155e2c9e81873d8a65d4a?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwiki.gentoo.org%2Fwiki%2FIwlwifi&userId=1883625&signature=6742ecc9da147a02>

>From my part, I have installed batman-adv in these iwlwifi driver ports in
3 PCs.
I can discover all the 3 pcs with "batctl o" command.

However If I give a specific ip address to bat0 ('ip addr add 10.10.12.1/24
dev bat0') i cannot ping the ip address from other PC. However ip address
assigned by avahi-autoipd bato works.

So basically I ahve 2 questions:
1. Does iwlwifi driver supports mesh networking?
2. How does ip address assigned by avahi works but manual ip address
allocation does not?

Any help is really appreciated.

Kind Regards,

*Mahesh Jena*
