Sounds like a jail-related problem to me - have you tried installing it
without a jail first? Unluckily I don't know much about FreeBSD jails -
maybe Sergei can help? From the line number, it might be related to our
use of IO::Prompt (which obviously might want want to write to some kind
of terminal, although I am still puzzled on why that might be a problem
in a jail) ...
