What code did you use?
I used the code from the repository mentioned in quickstart at first and
that seemed to work fine except it didn't set up any of the webui
(nothing at all in /var/www/html). I then used git clone to get the
current version which I managed to compile and install with almost no
issues.
The problem I encountered was trying to connect to the webgui. At first
nothing got run at all, which turned out to be due to the fact that I
had no webui.fcgi. After getting the latest version from the git and
installing it in the correct place I get the openXPKI logo on the
website and the grey band, but no login.
Looking at the debug in firefox gives me the following errors:
We have the system up and running with current Firefox, Chrome and IE
without any errors. I am not the JS guru to tell from the messages
alone whats happening but I'd suspect that you messed up some path.
The webui.fcgi is called with "/cgi-bin/webui.fcgi", can you please
check if you can access the script and if it works. It should answer
with a json encoded message "goto:login".
After a couple issues with privileges (which I ended up solving by using
sudo) the webui.fcgi (run from the command line) did answer with a json
encoded message "goto:login". It feels to me as if possibly the apache
is not executing the webui.fcgi as a perl script or something like that.
Is that even possible?
best regards
Oliver
