Hi Federico,

...and if you have a stable system working, its always worth the check the mailinglist archives using your favourite search engine which would dig up this post which is 10 weeks old:

Hi Frederico,

From your previous mails it looks like you’ve ventured deep into extensive
workflow customizations with your OpenXPKI setup.

OpenXPKI is amazingly customizable, but proper and most importantly successful
workflow modeling requires a deeper understanding of the underlying principles,
the OpenXPKI internal API and tools available and of course how to properly
combine these to solve a particular business requirement.
While we appreciate the effort you've put into this, the area you're modifying
is quite intricate and not something we can easily support through the
community channels, especially considering the specialized nature of your
environment and modifications, and at least not with the information that was
provided to us here.

As the team maintaining this project, we prioritize support for the core
functionality and contributions that benefit the broader OpenXPKI community.
However, when it comes to highly customized setups, such as the one you're
describing, our recommendation would be to either:

- Revert to the default configuration and validate if the issue persists, as
it's very likely that your customizations are introducing unexpected behavior.
Once it works, gradually reintroduce the changes you wish to apply. Feel free
to post your steps on the OpenXPKI Users Mailing List in a way that we can
understand what you are doing and assist you properly. By properly describing
problems and documenting the proper solution you are also contributing useful
knowledge to the community.

- If you require more in-depth assistance with your particular custom setup, we
offer professional services that can help with deeper investigations and
advanced troubleshooting. If that’s of interest, feel free to reach out
directly, and we’d be happy to discuss options.

- The team at White Rabbit Security expertly understands all the intricacies of
OpenXPKI, and with our Enterprise Edition we also ship improved workflows which
are even more customizable than the Community Edition. We routinely and
efficiently implement and support the exact business requirements of our
customers in a way that is as straightforward as possible, secure and
maintainable. Chances are that your business requirement is actually a standard
use case for us. Again, feel free to reach out to us to discuss options.

Thanks for your understanding!

Best regards,

Martin
