That is the same version of GCC I tried with, and the binutils version
in the bugreport also seems to be similar. What's more is that we've
started to see this failure on the launchpad.net build farm as well. :-(
It might be triggered by some combination of compilation options; what
are your CXXFLAGS/CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS_RELEASE (or entire build command-line)?
