Hi,
At the moment in Opsview the notifications are set up so that any
notification triggers an email and a SMS alert at the same time.
This is sort of overkill for us as a fair amount of services are
non-critical or dont require an SMS (at least immediately) and in any
one day we may recieve many alerts.
In our current Nagios build we have it set up so that host down events
trigger an SMS as well as an email. Non-critical stuff like service
warnings are just an email.
This type of granular notification functionality doesnt seem to be
available in Opsview, unless Im missing something. Of course it must be
possible to do this somehow as Opsview is based around Nagios.
I looked at NoMa but I the config is not quite linked enough and will
require duplicate users to be configured. Also, all the service
notifications to be excluded are manual, etc so this is not scalable for
the number of users we will have.
What would be the recommended way to achieve this or what have others
done as Im sure Im not the only person who requires this.
