We have set-up a distributed set-up of opsview, which is working good. However at the moment we are enabling the MRTG feature which appears to have an issue. When we enable the MRTG feature for a Cisco device, it show the graphs correctly. But when I enable the feature for a Nortel device, the graph is not showing when I open the device in the mrtg menu. The page says “No such host: 192.168.10.172”. However I can see the RRD files in the map /usr/ local/nagios/var/mrtg. Also both devices (Cisco & Nortel) are monitored by the same slave.

For troubleshooting I edited the URL, and removed the host selection in the URL. At that moment all graphs in the directory will appear, including the nortel graphs. It looks to me something is going wrong in the CGI script with the selection process. Is anybody familiar with this problem?

Which version of Opsview are you using? There was a bug in versions before Opsview 3.0.3 where the code to select the host was incorrect.
