Hi Ton,

Any ideas how to troubleshoot this issue?

Regards Rob

I'm baffled. This works fine on our system.

I goto
http://opslave.hub.altinity/cgi-bin/mrtg-rrd.cgi/?host=192.168.13.2

If I remove the hostname for
http://opslave.hub.altinity/cgi-bin/mrtg-rrd.cgi/?host= , I get a list
of graphs, as you do

If I click on a graph, it goes to
http://opslave.hub.altinity/cgi-bin/mrtg-rrd.cgi/192.168.13.2_1.html

Your slave is not running opsview-web, right? It should just be CGIs run
through apache for a slave system

Hi Ton,

If I click on the host inside the master MTRG menu, it will connect to
the slave. In my case the following URL"
http://10.22.1.1/cgi-bin/mrtg-rrd.cgi/?host=192.168.10.108";. This will
produce the error. When I remove the host IP
http://10.22.1.1/cgi-bin/mrtg-rrd.cgi/?host= it will show all the graphs
of that slave, including the ones from host 192.168.10.108.

What are the URLs you are trying to access?

You can obscure them, but I'd need to know whether they are master or
slave

Hi Rob,

We have set-up a distributed set-up of opsview, which is working good.
However at the moment we are enabling the MRTG feature which appears to
have an issue. When we enable the MRTG feature for a Cisco device, it
show the graphs correctly. But when I enable the feature for a Nortel
device, the graph is not showing when I open the device in the mrtg
menu. The page says "No such host: 192.168.10.172". However I can see
the RRD files in the map /usr/local/nagios/var/mrtg. Also both devices
(Cisco & Nortel) are monitored by the same slave.

For troubleshooting I edited the URL, and removed the host
selection in the URL. At that moment all graphs in the directory will
appear, including the nortel graphs. It looks to me something is going
wrong in the CGI script with the selection process. Is anybody familiar
with this problem?

Which version of Opsview are you using? There was a bug in versions
before Opsview 3.0.3 where the code to select the host was incorrect.

Ton
