When I tried to add a custom script to Opsview today, it didn't show
up in the plugin list when I tried to make a new service check with
it. It's in the libexec folder and has all the required rights,
owner etc. I had the same problem on our old test server that it
would not add any more plugins, even though all previously added
ones work fine.
Could it be that the MySQL database is full or something (even
though our current test server has more scripts)? If so, how do I
extend it?
Any other ideas?
There's documentation re: adding new plugins at:
* http://docs.opsview.org/doku.php?id=opsview-community:nagiosplugins
This includes a command to run to update the database with the plugin
and its help file.
Let us know if there is a problem with the automatic updating. We're
not aware of any issues with it at the moment.
