The line "master libexec directory updated; refreshing opsview config and
slaves libexec directory as necessary." is in the /var/log/opsview/opsviewd.log
file.
The "/usr/local/nagios/bin/populate_db.pl plugins" command however doesn't seem
to be doing anything except run for 25 mins (I'm supposed to actually write
plugins right?).

I have also noticed that 90% of the files in /usr/local/nagios/* that have 755
rights on my test server changed to 664 on the current machine. I don't know if
that matters but I manually changed them back and still no plugin in the list.

There's documentation re: adding new plugins at:
   * http://docs.opsview.org/doku.php?id=opsview-community:nagiosplugins

This includes a command to run to update the database with the plugin
and its help file.

Let us know if there is a problem with the automatic updating. We're
not aware of any issues with it at the moment.
