Position Title: Business Systems Analyst Location:VA
*We are looking someone who can come into our payroll..* Job Description: Looking for a highly passionate individual for the role of Business Systems Analyst. Analyst will be responsible for working with clients to identify business needs and develop detailed functional specifications to support product and project implementations in a highly challenging environment. The Analyst is a highly visible role, interacting on a daily basis with cross functional teams to understand and document various artifacts. Responsibilities Elicits requirements using client interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process analysis, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis Lead JAD sessions and critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and manage communication Creates business process flow diagrams and assist in the detailed assessment of existing IT automation processes, standards and procedures Display knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and deployment life cycle while closely working with DevOps developers and application development teams to articulate the technical specifications Maintain high standards of requirements documentation and other project artifacts Maintain high standards of project communication and client interactions Proactively identify, manage and mitigate risks. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience as Business systems analyst while working on medium to large scale application development/IT Infrastructure projects Extensive experience working with cross functional teams while performing business systems analysis, data analysis, requirements gathering, elicitation, use cases, process modeling and GAP analysis leading to various technical, business and functional assessments. Experience with Linux/Unix and virtual environments Experience in planning, design and delivery of Java based web deployments supported by large-scale relational database systems like Oracle 10g, 11g, and DB2, Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, MS Project and MS Visio Strong understanding and hands-on knowledge of information security fundamentals Preferred Qualifications A degree in CS or a related field.
