Position Title: Business / System Analyst
Location: Silver Spring, MD Number of Positions: 1 Top Required Skill: Linux expertise. *We are looking someone who can come into our payroll..* Job Description: Assists Project Manager in developing tactical and strategic product, services and/or programs to support organization’s goals Works closely with project manager to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or program business processes Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to configure system Consults with project manager and end users to determine business, functional and technical requirements for specified applications. Coordinates the development of all approved versions of business and functional specifications for specified applications. Reviews use cases and other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents Assists in coordinating and preparing for user acceptance testing including writing and reviewing test cases to ensure business requirements are adequately captured Is capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and work with multiple priorities · Has excellent verbal and written communication skills Key Skills (Required) – 2 -5 years of experience in a business analyst role with experience in gathering, analyzing and documenting requirements; creating test cases, use case and other documents as necessary; experience working in a client-facing role Strong analytical and delivery management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating stakeholder workshops Past experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools highly preferred but not required · Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint Key Skills (Preferred) – • Knowledge and experience of Work Management systems preferably Workfront • Hands on experience in configuring COTS products *Looking forward to work with you…* Thanks & Regards....
