*Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: Harrisburg, PA 17101Duration: 8 months* *Rate: $38/hr on C2C* The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. The Business Analyst should possess an understanding of data and business intelligence concepts. The Business Analyst will work closely with the Data Mart Project Manager and Data Mart Solution Architect to understand the appropriate stakeholder groups and ensure a full set of requirements is gathered and documented. BA2 Years of Relevant Experience: 4 - 6 years. Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience. *Role Description: * Experience conducting facilitated workshops for requirements gathering and analysis. Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies. Experience developing user requirements and documentation Experience developing business requirements and documentation. Experience developing functional/non-functional requirements and documentation. Strong organization, writing, and communication skills The selected candidate for this position will be working on gathering and documenting requirements for the SLDS Data Mart. The SLDS Data Mart is a data warehousing and business intelligence project. The candidate will require five years of experience with data-related projects. This position will act as the main point of contact for all program offices – and must have 2 years of experience communicating and working with individuals at all levels within an organization. A background or knowledge of education is a plus.
