Role: PeopleSoft/HR payroll Developer

Location: NYC

Duration: 6-12 months-most likely longer.

Rate:  $55-$60



* Required Skills/Experience (Skills that the successful candidate(s) must
have) *

-Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with the PeopleSoft
HR application in particular with Payroll and Time and Labor modules. Must
have excellent writing, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.



*Job responsibilities:*

- Analyze, design, configure, code and implement system changes to the
PeopleSoft HR application in the Payroll and Time and Labor modules. The
work includes changes to either the online or batch processing of the
PeopleSoft HR application

- Candidate should have hands-on experience with functional knowledge in
PeopleSoft version 9 Payroll and Time and Labor modules

- Candidate will participate in the definition, design, test and
implementation of the PeopleSoft HR parallel project for Finance and Supply
Chain Oracle eBS implementation. Candidate will be required to analyze,
design, code the system changes for the parallel project, perform systems
testing and adhere to standard practices and procedures for implementing
systems into production

- Experience with all or some of the PeopleSoft tools are required – items
include but not limited to: PeopleTools, Application Engine, SQR,
PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Workflow, Security and Query tools

- Candidate must have excellent organization and communications skills (both
oral and written) to work with HR/payroll functional team

- Ability to develop well-written system design documentation (both
technical and functional specs) as well as interpret and begin design based
on functional specs written by others

- Experience with the set-up, configuration and development of customized
screens and/or online processing, and/or custom batch programs in the area
of PeopleSoft Payroll and Time and Labor

- Complete challenging assignments with changing priorities while still
meeting deadlines

- Ability to work independently as well as with a large team

- Strong inter-personnel skills that requires significant interaction with
peers and customers (internal users)

- Troubleshoot and resolve problems

- Insure system operability; perform testing and debugging as per standard
practices, including unit, system and user acceptance testing.

Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Payroll and Time&Labor Development
experience with PeopleTools Assignment This is a developer assignment with
strong functional knowledge of Payroll and Time&Labor - no infrastructure,
DBA, networking required. Candidate will be part of PeopleSoft HR/Payroll
team that will implement the changes required to the PeopleSoft HCM product
to accommodate the new Finance and Supply Chain project.
