SAS Admin Location: Glen Mills, PA Duration: 6-12 Months Must Be EAD-GC & Citizens Must be Local to PA Personal Qualifications Ten years prior work experience in IT, including Five year work experience with SAS Administration. Extensive experience in installing, configuring, administering, tuning, and troubleshooting SAS platforms in Virtual Windows and Unix (AIX, Solaris, Linux) environment. Knowledge of the SAS Platform (Data Mining, Forecast, Data Integration, Business Analytics) a must. Extensive Level 2 Support Experience in troubleshooting with at least one of the SAS packages(Analytics Accelerator, Access, BI Dashboard, CONNECT, Data Surveyor, Data Quality Server, Enterprise Miner, Genetics, GRAPH, Grid Manager, Forecasting, Information Delivery Portal, Integration Technologies, Intelligence Platform, Web Report Studio) Extensive experience in tuning SAS products for JVM, Threads, Connection Pools, and Datasource’s is a must. Ability to respond to critical issues, manage critical trouble tickets and drive towards permanent resolutions. DBA skills with at least one of the following are a plus: DB2 9.5/9.7, SQL Server 2008, or Oracle 10g/11g. Knowledge of Application Server – WebSphere Application Server, JBOSS, Oracle is a plus Active participation in infrastructure architecture, such as hardware sizing, effort estimation and security. Experience in Production level support for onsite and offshore teams during their development life cycle is a plus. Strong experience in Cloud Computing, VM Infrastructure , project management and upward feedback is required Innovative and creative person who has developed new approaches to developing cloud computing solutions. Experience in establishing, building, maintaining and expanding IBM and third party vendor relationship is desired. Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, science, engineering or equivalent field. Prior consulting experience highly desired.
