*Required:*
1. Working independently within guidelines, implements procedures to ensure
that all information systems products and
services meet company standards.
2. May have primary responsibility for organization's change control
activities.
3. Designs software quality or change control plans and leads activities
to ensure proper identification of defects.
4. Consults with application development teams to plan and implement
change control and testing strategies.
5. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of
possible future standards.
6. Performs complex workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
7. Successfully promotes IT best practices while balancing practical
cultural and business dynamics.
8. Conducts internal quality reviews ensuring compliance with established
development methodologies.
9. Performs research into advanced topics.
10. Provides training and gives presentations on appropriate subjects.
11. Understands SSIS package management and can troubleshoot SSIS packages.
12. Capable of bundling multiple packages together and executing based on
documentation.
13. Excellent knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2.
14. May develop code and test cases when appropriate.
*EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE*
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
Minimum five (5) years related experience preferred.
*OTHER*
Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication
skills.
Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise.
A high proficiency level in specific job related skills is required.
Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to read and interpret documents including process, procedure, and
technical manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the
organization.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and
statistical inference, and basic algebraic functions. Ability to apply
concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to
practical situations.
