Description: looking for a .NET Software Engineer who will be a key member of a software development team working on a B2B web-services program. The candidate will be responsible for software development activities within the detailed design, development, and testing phases of the project. The candidate will also be responsible for assisting with technical support and new feature development during the customer pilot phase. The role will require close collaboration with research scientists, software development team members, interaction designers, and business development staff. The software development team will use a hybrid methodology to develop the platform, combining best practices from both agile and waterfall approaches to software development. Looking for someone who crafts, not just writes, production quality code. Responsibilities: . Participate in the development of: - Web services using REST methodologies - Atom and Atom Pub feeds - Windows Workflow Foundation for order fulfillment and job production - Windows Communication Foundation to integrate with other services that are part of the solution - ASP. NET and MVC 3 - Libraries and classes (ASP.NET) that support order fulfillment systems . Assist with detailed functional specifications and detailed design documentation for key automation functions of the solution. . Feature and test driven development (e.g. Cucumber, RSpec, SpecFlow) . Work with architects, software developers and R&D staff to ensure proper system development and deployment. . Develop according to industry standard best practices. Skills Required: . Experience with TDD and BDD design methodologies including SpecFlow (RSpec, Cucumber). . Experience with ASP.NET MVC3 . Experience with IoC/DI containers (preferably StructureMap) . Experience with ORMs (preferably NHibernate) and NoSql technologies . Experience with WCF, knowledge of REST technologies. (Experience with Atom and AtomPub RESTful services is a plus.) . Familiarity with industry standard DBMSes (e.g. SQL Server) at coding level and administration level is a plus .
