Dear IT Professionals, Position: Directory Services Engineer, Framingham, MA - PHONE TO HIRE 4 months
At a high level, they need somebody with expert LDAP experience using the Sun ONE Directory Server (now owned by Oracle), version 6.x and higher. Our Sun LDAP environment is called Enterprise Directory (ED). - 3-5 years experience with Sun Java System Directory Server (Oracle DSEE) 6.x and 7.x in a large corporate environment - Experience supporting complex directory service environments on a global scale; ability to work with globally distributed and cross functional teams - Familiar with company acquisitions and the integration of services dependent on centralized Directory Services - Must be able to work collectively with a team to ensure stable operation of company's Directory Services environment. Team is responsible for architecture, engineering, maintenance and support of directory services and those applications that utilize them - Monitor Directory Services environments including Sun Java System Directory Services and OpenLDAP - Experience installing and configuring Directory Server instances in replicated environments - Understanding and implementation of disaster recovery procedures - Successfully troubleshoot issues in a distributed system and provide resolutions for any and all problems assigned - Root Cause analysis; work with other teams and staff to identify root cause of problems and make recommendations on how to stop repeat issues - Well versed with SLAMD tool to run performance testing jobs.
